Renée Blanchard
Lawyer
Originally from Beresford, New Brunswick, Renée Blanchard is a fluently bilingual lawyer whose practice focuses on family law, will and estates. A graduate from the Université de Moncton, she obtained a Bachelor’s in Administration in 2007. In 2010, she completed her Bachelor of Law degree, during which she won trial advocacy competitions at both the regional (McKelvey Cup) and the national levels (Sopinka Cup).
Since her admission to the Bar in June 2011, she has practiced as a trial lawyer in family law matters, becoming an accomplished litigator with experience appearing before both the Court of Queen’s Bench and the Court of Appeal. Always conscious of the difficult circumstances in which families find themselves when requiring legal services, Renée responds to her clients needs in a timely and professional manner.
Active in the community, she currently sits as a member on the board of the Famille et Petite Enfance Francophone Sud inc. and also serves as Vice President of the Squash NB board. In addition, Renée, is an active volunteer at the Université de Moncton Faculty of Law, where she contributes as a coach for the teams that will participate at the regional trial advocacy competition, the McKelvey Cup. Renée’s dedication to nurturing the next generation of legal talent stems from a belief in the importance of hands-on experience, a skill that is vital both in the courtroom and in everyday legal practice.
